Beach Combing

I never thought beach combing was fun or enjoyable enough to be a hobby or just a reasonable pass time.

Actually beach combing really is fun when you enjoy the salty sea breeze brush on your face, the smell of the sea, and sand between your toes. When beach combing, you may find a lot of different stuff like trash, keys, coins, necklaces, earrings and some unmentionable stuff left by stray dogs. 

I think there are professional beach combers who goes to the beach regularly dragging along bounty hunter metal detectors. Metal detectors actually gets the job done efficiently and fast. Plus it lessens the chance of digging up trash and other rubbish.

Trophies

Winners of Olympic games in ancient Greece are believed to receive laurel wreaths and amphora with sacred olive oil. Winners in local games received trophies and awards such as a tripod vase, a bronze shield or a silver cup. Winners of sporting events at the very late 1600s in the New World, on the other hand, received chalices as their prize.
