The world's largest gold bar was manufactured by the Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi. Measuring 45.5 cm × 22.5 cm × 17 cm, the gold bar was displayed at the Toi gold mine on July 11, 2005. By current 2011 gold prices, this is worth around $15.3 million USD far higher than many gold bars at Golden Eagle. This value is for gold weight alone at $1,900/troy ounce.
