Radar

Radar was a result of experiments by Heinrich Hertz. It showed that radio waves bounce back or reflected when it bumps in to metallic objects. Today radar is used by ships to prevent collisions at sea. Radar is also useful on salvage missions enabling rescuers to trace sunken ships or object under the water where visibility is low.

Beach combers may also use radar to find lost valuables like coins, jewelries and other metallic objects. Small radar equipment like bel radar detectors are sold over the internet and store. Radars are also used in spy toys and others.
