Sleeping Disorder

Sleep disorders such as insomnia is caused by a variety of things. Bad eating habits are more often than not the primary cause of sleeping disorders that plague our society. Ingesting caffeine rich food and drinks in the day may cause sleep disorders at night. In my own personal experience, drinking carbonated beverages in the afternoon is one cause of insomnia. The effect of carbonated drinks kicks in immediately or 1-3 hours after drinking. Coffee on the other hand takes effect 4-6 hours after drinking. If you lay down immediately after drinking coffee, you may find yourself asleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

Several sleep aid techniques are suggested. Drinking warm milk before bedtime is said to be effective. More advanced type of sleep disorders may require psychological checkups, and visits to a sleep clinic. Drugs are also prescribed to those who have chronic insomnia but people are advised to seek medical advice as to the need of sleep aid drugs.
