22 Mummies Found in 2,600-year-old tomb

22 mummies were reportedly found in a 2,600-year-old tomb during a recent round of excavations in Cairo, Egypt. Archeologists also report that these mummies belong to the 26th Dynasty known as Egypt's last independent kingdom. Majority of the mummies however are poorly preserved and archeologists have yet to find out the identities of these mummies and why so many were placed in one room.

More details about these newfound Egyptian mummies can be read here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090209/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_egypt_mummy_discovery
